Rangers’ Hill excited about facing Permian (The New Braunfels Herald-Zeitung)
After four years of trying, Smithson Valley football coach Larry Hill finally got his wish. Hill’s Rangers will open the 2010-11 seasons against Odessa Permian, one of the most-storied football programs in Texas that also inspired the book and television series “Friday Night Lights.”
